Textile and apparel MSMEs are basically traditional industries following conventional ways and means due to a lack of research, innovation, and product diversification. On the other hand, Innovation capacity within India’s large base of students in technical institutions remains mostly untapped. Incubators/ Research institutes play a crucial role to converge the student’s innovation potential with the emerging industry’s needs.  
To make it happens Tamilnadu Startup Innovation Mission (TANSIM) and AIC-NIFT TEA incubation Centre for Textiles and Apparels with the support of NIFTTEA College of Knitwear Fashion organise a Textile Hackathon (TEXATHON – 2023). The two days programme is scheduled on 6th & 7th January 2023 at AIC NIFTTEA Incubation Centre, SIDCO, Mudalipalayam, Tirupur.
